Banana Bread Recipe

– Mixing Bowl – Measuring Cups – Whisk – Bread Pan – Cooling Rack – Plastic Wrap

EQUIPMENT

– 3 ripe bananas – 1/2 cup unsalted butter ((8 Tbsp) at room temperature) – 3/4 Cup granulated sugar – 2 large eggs, lightly beaten – 1/2 tsp Salt – 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract

INGREDIENTS

– 1½ Cups Flour – 1 tsp baking soda – 1 cup Walnuts – 1 cup Walnuts

INGREDIENTS

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. 2.Grease and flour a bread loaf pan. It's the one that's about 9.25 inches long, 5.25 inches wide, and 2.75 inches deep.

INSTRUCTIONS

3. Throw some walnuts into a skillet on low heat. Keep stirring so they don't burn. Once they're lightly roasted, chop them up coarsely and let them cool to room temperature. 4. Grab a mixing bowl and soften up 8 tablespoons of butter. Mix it with 3/4 cup of sugar (or honey if that's your thing).

INSTRUCTIONS

5. Mash up some bananas with a fork until they look like chunky applesauce. Toss them into the butter-sugar mix. 6. Crack in two eggs and give it all a good mix until everything's blended together.

INSTRUCTIONS

7. In another bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. 8. Pour this into your banana batter and mix it all in. 9. Add in 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and throw in those chopped walnuts and some raisins if you fancy them.

INSTRUCTIONS

10. Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan. 11. Stick it in the preheated oven and let it bake at 350°F for about 55-60 minutes. Check if it's done by poking a toothpick into the center – if it comes out clean, you're good to go!

INSTRUCTIONS

12.  Once it's out of the oven, let the banana bread chill in the pan for about 10 minutes. 13.  Then, transfer it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
