Crumpet Recipe: Homemade Happiness

- Mixing Bowls - Measuring cups and spoons - Whisk or Spoon - Griddle or skillet - Spatula - Cooling Rack

- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast - 1 teaspoon white sugar - 2 ¾ cups warm water divided - 3 cups all-purpose flour - 2 tablespoons dry milk powder - 1 ½ tbps salt - 2 tbps water - 1 tbps baking soda 

Ingredients  

1. Prepare Batter: Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. In another bowl, mix warm water and yeast until foamy. Combine wet and dry ingredients to make a smooth batter. Let it rest for 30 minutes 2. Preheat Cooking Surface: Heat a greased griddle or skillet over medium heat. Grease crumpet rings and place them on the griddle.
