– Silicone Molds – Mixing Bowl – Whisk – Oven – Measuring Spoons and Cups – Oven Mitts – Spatula – Skillet optional
– 6 eggs – 1/4 cup milk or cream – Salt and pepper to taste – 1/2 cup shredded cheese cheddar, mozzarella, etc. – Cooked bacon, sautéed veggies, spinach optional mix-ins
1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). 2. Grease a muffin tin or use silicone molds. 3. Cook any desired mix-ins (e.g., bacon, veggies) separately and set aside.
4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk or cream, salt, and pepper until well combined. 5. Distribute the cooked mix-ins evenly into the greased muffin tin or silicone molds. 6. Fill each mold about 3/4 full with the prepared egg mixture.
7. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of each egg-filled mold. 8. Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven. 9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the egg bites are set and slightly golden on top. 10. Allow the egg bites to cool for a few minutes.
11. Carefully remove them from the molds. 12. Serve warm and enjoy your customizable egg bites!
