Easy Smoked Beef Chuck Roast Recipe

- Smoker – Baking sheet – Aluminum foil – Cooking Thermometer – Mixing Bowl and Spoon – Knife and Cutting Board

– 3 pound chuck roast – 1 tbsp Yellow Mustard – 1/4 cup BBQ Dry Rub – Wood Chips for Smoking

Preheat the Smoker: 1. Set your smoker to 235 degrees, aiming to maintain a temperature between 225-250 degrees during smoking.

Prepare the Chuck Roast: 1. Rub the chuck roast with yellow mustard, ensuring it's well-coated. 2. Generously apply BBQ dry rub, using your hands to massage it into the meat.

Smoking Process: 1. Place the seasoned chuck roast in the smoker. 2. Add wood chips for smoking. 3. Smoke for 6-8 hours, adding more wood chips as needed.

Check for Doneness: 1. The chuck roast is done when it's tender, and the temperature reaches 180-205 degrees. 2.  For slicing, remove it at 180-190 degrees; for shredding, wait until it reaches 205 degrees. 3.  For optimal results, let the roast rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing or shredding.
