Ingredients

Instructions
Skin and prepare chicken pieces.
Season flour in a plastic bag with paprika, salt, and pepper.
Dip chicken in buttermilk, then coat in seasoned flour.
Allow chicken to sit until flour forms a paste-like consistency.
Heat vegetable oil in skillet until very hot.
Brown chicken on both sides in hot oil.
Cover skillet and cook chicken for 30 minutes.
Remove cover, raise heat, and continue frying until crispy.
Drain fried chicken on paper towels.
Keep finished chicken warm in oven while frying remaining batches.
