Mouthwatering Gigi Hadid Pasta Recipe

Tender pasta with a rich, creamy tomato sauce flavored with garlic, diced shallot, tomato paste, and red pepper flakes is served with Gigi Hadid's Spicy Vodka Pasta. This is such an easy and tasty recipe that I've found it to be my go-to when I'm wanting pasta! It takes less than 30 minutes to prepare and is ready for the dinner table!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pasta of choice
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of tomato paste
  • 1 cup of heavy cream (see note below for a vegan version!)
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • Salt + pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup parmesan
  • 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons of vodka (optional)*
  • 1 small shallot, diced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil*

Instructions

  • Cook your preferred pasta following the instructions on the package. Keep 1/2 cup of pasta water aside. Once cooked, drain the pasta and set it aside.
  • Heat up 1/4 cup of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Throw in minced garlic and diced shallot, letting them cook for 5 minutes. Add tomato paste and stir, letting it cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  • Pour in 2 tablespoons of vodka into the skillet. Then, add 1 cup of heavy cream (or choose the vegan version). Sprinkle in red pepper flakes for that spicy kick.
  • Mix in the cooked pasta, reserved 1/2 cup of pasta water, butter, and parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper according to your taste. Stir constantly and let it cook for 1 more minute.
  • Take it off the heat and serve your Gigi Hadid Pasta with a touch of basil and an extra sprinkle of parmesan. Enjoy your quick, tasty, and delightful creation!

Notes

  • Olive Oil Adjustment: The original recipe suggests using � cup of olive oil, but through testing, I found that � cup works just as wonderfully, bringing the perfect balance of flavors.
  • Vodka Optional: Feel free to skip the vodka if you're not a fan or prefer a non-alcoholic version. It won't compromise the amazing taste. If you want the sauce a bit thinner, keeping some extra pasta water handy could be a smart move.
  • Vegan Twist: For a vegan version, swap out the cream with thick oat milk or, my personal favorite, full-fat coconut milk. To keep it fully plant-based, omit the parmesan and consider adding a touch of nutritional yeast. However, for an extra boost in flavor, grab some vegan parmesan � Violife has a fantastic option that adds that cheesy goodness.
