For the cookies

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 container ricotta cheese 15 oz.
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

For the glaze

  • 4 - 5 tablespoons milk
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Cream butter, sugar, eggs, ricotta, and vanilla.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, and soda; add to mixture.
  • Roll dough into balls; place on baking sheet.
  • Bake 8-10 minutes until lightly browned.
  • Glaze: Mix milk, powdered sugar, almond extract. Dip cookies, sprinkle, cool.
