Ingredients

For the Patties

  • 1 Pound Ground Beef or chicken/turkey
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt and Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil Butter (Optional)

For the Pizza

  • ½ cup Pizza or Marinara Sauce
  • ½ cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • 4 Burger Buns

Toppings (optional)

  • pepperoni
  • sautéed mushrooms
  • onions
  • olives

Instructions

  • Mix the Meat
    Add the ground meat, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to a bowl and mix just enough to combine, no overworking.

    Form the mixture into even-sized patties, pressing gently so they hold together without getting dense.

    Heat a skillet with a little olive oil and cook the patties for 3–4 minutes per side until they turn golden and juicy.
  • Warm the Pizza Sauce
    In a small pan, heat the pizza sauce with a splash of olive oil and a little garlic until it thickens and smells rich.

    Once the patties are cooked through, spoon warm sauce over each one and top them with mozzarella. Cover the pan for a minute or two so the cheese melts perfectly.
