Easy Honeybun Cake Recipe

– Mixing Bowl – Electric mixer – Spatula – Measuring Cups – Oven


– 1 (15.25-ounce) package yellow cake mix – 4 large eggs – 3/4 cup vegetable oil – 1 cup sour cream – 1 cup brown sugar – 1 tbsp cinnamon – 2 cups powdered sugar – 1/2 cup milk – 2 tsp vanilla extract


1.  Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 13×9-inch baking pan. 2. Mix cake mix, eggs, oil, and sour cream until smooth in a large bowl. 3. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl


4. Spread half of the batter in the pan, then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture. 5. Add remaining batter on top and swirl with a knife. 6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.


7. Let cool in pan for a few minutes. 8. Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a bowl, then drizzle over warm cake and cool completely.
