Ingredients

Pop Tart Dough:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 16 tbsp unsalted butter cut diced
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp milk

Cranberry Orange Filling�:

  • 1 cup cranberries�
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • Zest from 1 orange
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp orange liquor

Cranberry Frosting :

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp of milk or heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp cranberry orange filling
  • Orange zest

Instructions

  • Prepare the pop tart dough by mixing flour, sugar, salt, and diced butter until crumbly. Add egg and milk, then chill.
  • Make cranberry orange filling by simmering cranberries, sugar, orange juice, zest, water, and liquor until thickened.
  • Roll out dough and cut into rectangles. Fill with cranberry filling, seal edges, and prick tops with a fork.
  • Bake pop tarts at 350�F for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  • Make cranberry frosting by whisking powdered sugar, milk, cranberry filling, and orange zest until smooth. Drizzle over cooled pop tarts.
