Ingredients

  • 1 boneless turkey breast
  • 1 tsp creole seasoning
  • 1/2 granulated garlic
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup dirty rice
  • 1/2 cup cane syrup
  • 1/2 cup cane vinegar
  • a pinch of red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Season turkey breast with creole seasoning, granulated garlic, thyme, and butter.
  • Place dirty rice on one side of the turkey breast, roll tightly, and secure with twine.
  • Roast in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes until cooked through and still moist.
  • In a skillet, heat cane syrup, cane vinegar, and red pepper flakes until boiling, then remove from heat.
  • Serve cooked turkey breast with the glaze on the side.
