Equipment

  • Hand Mixer
  • Mixing Bowls
  • 913 Baking Dish
  • Silicone Spatula

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces Oreos
  • 4 tablespoons butter softened
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 3 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 large boxes instant vanilla pudding 10.2 ounces total
  • 12 ounces Cool Whip 1 1/2 small containers

Instructions

  • Crush Oreos in a food processor and spread half in a 9 x 13 inch pan.
  • Cream butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar with an electric mixer.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk pudding and milk, then fold in Cool Whip.
  • Add spoonfuls of creamed mixture to the pudding mixture and mix well.
  • Pour the creamy mixture over the Oreos in the pan and sprinkle the remaining crushed Oreos on top.

Notes

  • Use softened cream cheese and butter to avoid lumps in the pudding mixture.
  • For the best taste, chill the dessert. It's cool after an hour in the fridge, but 4 hours is even better.
  • Enjoy the flavors at their best within the first two days, as the Oreos may become soggy afterward.
  • Store the dirt cake in the refrigerator as it doesn't freeze well.
  • Opt for large boxes of instant pudding mix for maximum flavor.
