  • Chicken breasts thinly sliced – 2 pieces
  • Fresh asparagus trimmed – 1 bunch
  • Garlic minced – 3 cloves
  • Soy sauce – 2 tablespoons
  • Toasted sesame oil – 1 teaspoon
  • Cooking oil canola or grapeseed – 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame seeds or chopped scallions optional garnish – 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  • Slice chicken breasts thinly against the grain
  • Heat cooking oil in a wok over high heat
  • Add chicken and stir fry until lightly golden
  • Add minced garlic and cook briefly
  • Add asparagus and stir fry for 3–4 minutes
  • Pour in soy sauce and toss to coat
  • Drizzle sesame oil over the stir fry
  • Cook another minute until chicken is fully cooked
  • Garnish with sesame seeds or scallions before serving
