Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts shredded or thinly sliced
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slider buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, blue cheese or ranch dressing

Instructions

  • Marinate the shredded or thinly sliced chicken in a mixture of buffalo sauce, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Allow it to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to 24 hours. The longer the marinating time, the more intense the flavor.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place the marinated chicken on a baking sheet or in a baking dish, ensuring an even spread.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and slightly crispy on the edges.
  • While the chicken is baking, slice the slider buns and prepare any desired toppings.
  • Once the chicken is done, remove it from the oven. Toss the chicken in a bit more buffalo sauce if desired.
  • Assemble the sliders by placing a generous portion of buffalo chicken on each bun. Add optional toppings.
