Instructions
Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat
Place chicken skin-side down and cook for 6–7 minutes
Turn chicken and cook another 6–7 minutes
Remove chicken from skillet and set aside
Add butter and garlic to the skillet
Cook briefly until fragrant
Add asparagus and sauté for 3–4 minutes
Pour in broth or white wine to deglaze the pan
Return chicken to the skillet
Add lemon juice and simmer until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C)
Garnish with fresh herbs before serving
