Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat
Add chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C)
Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside
Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant
Pour in lemon juice and bring to a simmer
Add peas to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes until heated through
Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the lemon-garlic sauce
Garnish with fresh herbs and chili flakes (if using)
Serve warm
