Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary chopped
  • 8 tablespoons butter melted reserve 2 tablespoons for brushing
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 ounces cream cheese chilled and cut up into small pieces 2 ounces or 4 tablespoons

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425�F.
  • Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, salt, and chopped rosemary in a bowl.
  • Combine melted butter and buttermilk, then add diced cream cheese to form small clumps.
  • Fold the buttermilk mixture and cream cheese into the flour until dough forms and pulls away from the bowl.
  • Drop spoonfuls of batter onto a baking sheet, spacing them apart. Brush with reserved butter.
  • Bake for 12-14 minutes until golden brown.
