Equipment

  • Air Fryer (6-quart or larger)
  • Small Mixing Bowl
  • Basting Brush or Spoon
  • Meat thermometer
  • Tongs or fork (for flipping)
  • Cutting board (for resting and carving)

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 ½ teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 2 ½ teaspoons poultry seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 5 pound whole chicken, giblets removed

Instructions

  • Remove giblets from the chicken and pat it dry using paper towels.
  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, Italian seasoning, poultry seasoning, paprika, and salt.

  • Rub the seasoning mix all over the chicken, including under the skin if possible.

  • Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C) for 3–5 minutes.

  • Place the chicken breast-side down in the air fryer basket.
    Place Chicken in Air Fryer & Cook
  • Cook for 30 minutes, then flip the chicken.
  • Cook for another 20–30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Let it rest for 10 minutes before carving. Enjoy!
