Ingredients

  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 17.25 ounces frozen puff pastry sheets 1 package, thawed
  • 4 ounces garlic & herb Alouette cheese 1 container
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 4 6-ounce boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Unroll the thawed puff pastry sheets and cut into appropriate sizes for your chicken breasts.
  • Mix the Alouette cheese and Dijon mustard in a bowl.

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then coat with the cheese mixture.
  • Place the chicken on the puff pastry, folding the pastry around the chicken and sealing the edges.
  • Brush the top of the pastry with the beaten egg and a little water.
    Brush with Egg Wash & Bake
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
