  • 2 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate bars* finely chopped
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream *
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Coating: unsweetened cocoa powder crushed nuts, sprinkles

Instructions

  • Chop chocolate and place in a heat-proof bowl.
  • Heat cream until simmering in a saucepan or microwave.
  • Pour hot cream over chocolate, let sit for 3-5 minutes.
  • Add vanilla extract, stir until chocolate melts.
  • Cover with plastic wrap, refrigerate until firm (about 1 hour).
  • Scoop and roll into tablespoon-sized balls.
  • Roll in toppings if desired, chill on parchment-lined pan until firm.
  • Transfer to airtight container and refrigerate.
  • Serve at room temperature for best flavor.
