Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Citrus Juicer
  • Measuring jigger

Ingredients

  • Kosher salt
  • Ice cubes
  • 2 ounces ¼ cup tequila
  • 2 ounces ¼ cup guava nectar
  • 1 ounce 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 ounce 2 tablespoons triple sec or Cointreau

Instructions

  • Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a margarita glass or tumbler to wet it.

  • Dip the wet rim into kosher salt on a flat plate to coat it.
  • Fill the glass halfway with ice cubes.

  • In a cocktail shaker with ice, mix guava nectar, tequila, triple sec, and lime juice. Shake well.
  • Strain the mixture into the prepared glass, garnish with a lime slice if desired, and serve immediately.
