  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 cm fresh ginger finely grated
  • 2 garlic cloves crushed
  • few drops black gel food colouring
  • 16 chicken wings

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix soy sauce, molasses, garlic, and ginger to make the marinade.

  • Add chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.

  • Arrange the marinated wings on the rack, making sure they aren't overlapping.
  • Bake the wings for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they’re crispy and cooked through.

  • Let the wings cool slightly, then serve and enjoy!
