Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Unwrap the crescent dough and cut half the package into thin strips about 1/4 inch wide.
Take one or two strips of dough and wrap them around each meatball.
Hold one end in place while gently stretching the dough around in a haphazard pattern.
Press the dough onto itself to help it stick.
Repeat this process for all meatballs, adding more dough strips as needed.
Bake the wrapped meatballs for 12-15 minutes, until heated through and the dough is golden brown.
While baking, cut small circles out of the pepperoni for the eyes.
After the meatballs cool slightly, use a little sauce or water to stick two eyes onto each mummy and serve as desired!
