Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • a pinch of cinnamon optional
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water
  • 1 cup milk of choice I've tried it with soy milk, almond and oat milk

Instructions

  • Combine 2 tablespoons instant coffee, 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, and 2 tablespoons boiling water in a bowl.
  • Use a hand mixer or stand mixer on high speed to whip the mixture for about 2 minutes until thick and frothy.
  • Scrape down the sides and whip any unmixed bits.
  • Taste the whipped coffee and add more sugar if desired.
  • Pour your favorite milk (about 1 cup) into a tall glass. For iced coffee, add a few ice cubes first, then the milk.
  • Spoon the whipped coffee over the milk.
  • Stir vigorously with a spoon or straw to mix and enjoy!
