Ingredients

Cake

  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 2 eggs room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup 113g butter, melted

Filling

  • 1 package 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup 113g butter, melted
  • 4 cups confectioners sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for convection).
  • Mix cake mix, 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla, and melted butter until combined.
  • Spray or line a 9x3-inch round or 9x13-inch pan.
  • Press cake mixture into the prepared pan.
  • Beat cream cheese, remaining eggs, vanilla, and melted butter until creamy; add confectioners' sugar gradually.
  • Pour cream cheese mixture over cake layer.
  • Bake for 35-45 minutes until edges are brown and center is slightly jiggly.
  • Cool before serving.
