Coat shrimp in olive oil, salt, garlic, onion powder, and black pepper.
Preheat air fryer to 400°F, spray with oil, and air fry shrimp for 6 minutes.
Melt butter in a skillet, add garlic, cook for 30 seconds.
Off heat, whisk in lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, red pepper flakes, and parsley.
Drizzle garlic butter over cooked shrimp, serve over rice if desired.
- If you want your shrimp to cook evenly and without overdone spots, make sure the air fryer is not too full. Shrimp should be cooked in batches, with only one layer per pan.
- You can make sure the prawns are crispy on all sides by turning them over halfway through.
