  • Hamburger buns for serving

Instructions

  • Brown 1 pound of ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add chopped 1/2 onion and 1/2 bell pepper to the skillet; cook until softened.
  • Stir in 1 cup ketchup, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 2 teaspoons brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, and 1/2 teaspoon chili powder.
  • Simmer the mixture for about 10 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Optional: Add a splash of water if the mixture is too thick.
  • Spoon the Sloppy Joe mixture onto hamburger buns.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Sloppy Joes.

Notes
