king crabs: Individual king crabs are typically sold for a bit more money. However, it’s worth it! King crab legs resemble lobster tails in their delicate sweetness and tenderness. You receive more for your money because of how much meat they contain, especially when compared to Dungeness crabs.

  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp  freshly ground black pepper

  • Begin by cutting a length-wise slit into the shell of each crab leg. This helps the flavors seep in while cooking.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook until translucent, usually for about 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Stir in chopped parsley, ground pepper, and salt to the skillet. Keep heating until the mixture starts bubbling, ensuring all the flavors meld together.
  • Add the crab legs to the skillet and toss them gently to coat them evenly with the butter mixture. Let them simmer in the skillet until they're completely heated through, which usually takes about 5 to 6 minutes.
