Overview How To Make Keto Burger

This Keto Sheet Pan Burger recipe is a quick and flavorful meal that you’ll want to make repeatedly. Perfect for those following a Keto, Atkins, low-carb, gluten-free, or nut-free diet, these burgers are loaded with bold flavors and are incredibly easy to prepare.

Start by preheating your oven to 425°F. Combine 24 ounces of ground beef with kosher salt, black pepper, and garlic powder, then form the mixture into four patties. Arrange these patties on a large baking sheet, alongside slices of raw bacon, onion rings, and jalapeño slices. Bake everything together for 18 minutes, letting the oven do most of the work.

While the burgers are baking, whip up a tangy sauce by mixing real mayonnaise, Sriracha hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and a bit of granulated erythritol sweetener. Once smooth, store the sauce in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve.

After 18 minutes of baking, top each patty with a slice of pepper jack cheese and broil for an additional two minutes until the cheese is melted and slightly browned. Assemble your burgers by layering the patties with bacon, onions, jalapeños, and a generous drizzle of the spicy sauce. Serve warm, optionally over a bed of iceberg lettuce and dill pickle chips for a complete, satisfying meal.

Helpful Tips For Making The Best Keto Burgers!

  • Use Freshly Ground Beef: For the best flavor and texture, use freshly ground beef if possible. This can make a significant difference in the juiciness of your patties.
  • Don’t Overwork the Meat: When mixing the ground beef with the seasonings, handle it gently. Overworking the meat can result in dense, tough patties.
  • Chill Your Patties: After shaping your patties, let them chill in the refrigerator for at least 15-20 minutes. This helps them hold their shape better during cooking and allows the flavors to meld.
  • Bacon Prep Tip: Partially cook your bacon before adding it to the baking sheet. This ensures it gets crispy by the time the burgers are done without overcooking the patties.
  • Perfect Onion Rings: To prevent the onion rings from burning, lightly brush them with olive oil before placing them on the baking sheet. This helps them caramelize beautifully.
  • Customize Your Heat Level: Adjust the amount of jalapeños or substitute with milder peppers if you prefer less heat. Alternatively, leave the seeds in for a spicier kick.
  • Cheese Melting Perfection: For even melting, let the cheese slices come to room temperature before placing them on the patties. This helps them melt more evenly and quickly under the broiler.
  • Make the Sauce in Advance: Prepare the sauce a few hours ahead of time or even the day before. This allows the flavors to develop and makes assembly quicker.
